Electronic invoicing – a sustainable innovation
Around 2 billion invoices a year are issued in Germany and traditionally sent out in paper form by post. That means that data already in digital form has to be entered again manually by the recipients in their IT systems.

The innovative solution
The paper-based process is time-consuming, prone to errors and causes huge costs. By introducing e-billing, thus sending invoices out electronically along with a qualified digital signature, we – Flughafen München GmbH and our subsidiary AeroGround Flughafen München GmbH – would like to offer you an innovative solution to enable more efficient invoice processing at minimal cost starting as of January 2011.

Advantages of e-billing
QuickDirect transfer of our invoice to your accounts department (no intermediaries)
EfficientInvoices can be processed completely electronically. The time and work involved in scanning, filing and archiving them is eliminated.
SecureAll electronic invoices contain a qualified digital signature to meet the requirements of the German Value-Added Tax Law (their origin and integrity can be verified at all times).
Eco-friendlyLess paper means less consumption of raw materials (reduced carbon footprint)
ModernElectronic invoices, like e-mails, are part of normal everyday business
Cost-effectiveReceipt of the signed FMG invoice is free of charge for you as the customer.

The e-billing process
You receive a separate email for each invoice directly from Flughafen München GmbH
(sender: ebilling@munich-airport.de). This e-mail contains the invoice in the form of a signed PDF file.
If you receive further files for verifying the invoice (e.g. txt data), they are also integrated as a second attachment in the email.

The signature can be verified using customary signature/verification applications. We recommend using the free verification tool “digiSeal reader” from secrypt.

We would be pleased if you opted to receive your future invoices under this innovative and efficient electronic process. To indicate your consent to receiving invoices from Flughafen München GmbH and AeroGround Flughafen München GmbH via e-billing, we kindly ask you to complete and sign the following declaration and return it to us.
