A world-wide trend
Munich Airport's "Ideas Pool" reflects a world-wide trend towards improved involvement of employees in the management and design of operational processes. The transparent bonus system with attractive rewards for good ideas boosted employee motivation and encouraged cost-effectiveness. Ideas submitted by employees covered all areas of airport operations. The idea management process has already resulted in the optimization of numerous technical processes, the faster handling procedures and improved passenger services.
