Third prize for Airport Report
inkom.-Grand Prix 2000
The "Airport Report" took third prize at the inkom.-Grand Prix 2000.
December 12, 2000
Munich Airport's staff newspaper and the "Gaskieker", published by the Berlin Gasworks, tied for the most points in the category "Newspaper, service provider, 1001 to 10,000 employees". The seven-member panel of experts did not award a first or second prize.
They based their assessments on concept, content and layout. Deserving of praise, in the jury's view, were the Airport Report's quality of research, understandable writing and involvement with readers.
At the award ceremony in Berlin, Prof. Ulrich Pätzold, who headed the jury, stated: "The selections were not always easy, since the quality of the submitted newspapers was good on the average."
