In this section we provide an overview of key regulations for the Munich Airport noise protection program
Combined day/night noise protection area
On March 23, 2001, the District Government of Upper Bavaria granted approval to amended night flight regulations at Munich Airport. Under the new regulations, the night protection zone is replaced by a day and night protection area.
Within this area, home owners are entitled to noise protection in living areas and bedrooms.
