Parking tips
To help ensure that parking at Munich Airport functions as smoothly as possible for you, we have put together some important tips in this section.
Height limit
Please note that all underground garages and car parks have a height limit of 2.00 meters for all vehicles.
Higher vehicles can be parked on the special parking area for vacationers. Follow the signs to P41.

Baggage trolleys
Baggage trolleys are available on all levels for a EUR 1.00 fee.
Payment stations
The payment machines accept all common means of payment: coins, banknotes up to EUR 50.00, credit cards (Eurocard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club) and EC cards.

Parking guidance system
The number of available spaces is displayed at the entrance to the parking facilities. The automatic parking guidance system will guide you to an available numbered space. The parking levels are color-coded. Mark the card from the entrance barrier with your level, space number and parking area.
Paying by credit card
To pay for parking by credit card, simply insert your credit card in the slot at the entrance barrier and park your car as always. When you return there is no need to go to the payment machine. Your credit card will open the exit barrier.
