The S1 and S8 S-Bahn lines connect the airport to the Munich city center at 10-minute intervals. The S1 travels via the west of the city and the S8 via the east. The trip to the main railway station at the city center takes approx. 40 minutes.

The bus stops for long-distance buses at Munich Airport are just a few steps from Terminal 2 at bus stops 21 and 22. Terminal 1 is only a five to 10 minute walk away. Please follow the signs.

If you park your car in the P41, P43, P44, P51, or P90 parking areas, you can use your parking ticket for free public transportation to your departure terminal – and when returning to your vehicle after your trip. Simply present your parking ticket when boarding. The ticket is valid for all persons travelling to or from the airport together. The parking ticket is automatically issued when you enter the parking area at the barrier - please keep it safe.
