Erding is on the historically important route between Landshut and Munich. You can book a tour of the town with your airport tour! Allow approximately 30 minutes to get to Erding from the airport using your own transportation.

Duration: approximately 75 minutes / approx. 900 meters on foot

Meeting point: Erding bus station; The town tours start at the “Grüner Markt”, where you will learn about the city’s rich and varied past.
The tour includes the following sights:
  • Historical buildings and typical houses of prominent citizens in the Lange Zeile
  • “Schrannenplatz” – the focal point of town life
  • The late Gothic parish church of St. Johannes with many works of religious art
  • Frauenkircherl – the former house of worship is now a cultural and exhibition space
  • The city tower – the oldest building, dating back to the 14th century
  • The town hall – the former town residence of the Count von Preysing
  • The "Schöne Turm" – one of the landmarks of the old Bavarian ducal town
  • Remains of the city fortifications
  • etc.
