Position within the company organizational structure
The fire department (AVF) has been an organizational unit within the Aviation division since January 2005.
Since October 2006 the fire department (AVF) has had the following organizational structure:

Central Tasks (AVFZ)
  • Business planning
  • Cost monitoring for the fire department business unit
  • Charging third parties for fire department services
  • Risk management

Deployment and Organization (AVFE)
  • Creation and development of standard deployment regulations
  • Alarm and deployment concepts
  • Alarm and response regulations
  • Response management materials
  • Property information on fire protection equipment and equipment/facilities for the fire department
  • Fire department deployment plans
  • Operation of the fire department mission headquarters
  • Operational administration/ data management / mission coordination computers
