Why do aircraft have to be towed?
Aircraft have no reverse gear, and therefore need assistance when leaving their parking positions. Aircraft can use their engines to roll forward under their own power. However, for long distances on the ground it is often more economical and ecologically sound to tow them using a tractor.

How many towing tractors does EFM operate?
EFM operates a fleet of 23 towing tractors. We distinguish between tractors with and without towbars. Related info:

Yes. Although our customers generally provide their own towbars, we also have numerous towbars of our own.
