To help you decide how you want to continue your journey, here are some facts about the different connections you can choose from.

You will find the Car Rental Center in the Munich Airport Center. Most counters are open daily from 6.30 am until midnight. Pick-up/return are conveniently located in the parking garage P6 right next to the Munich Airport Center.

Car rentals

For guests who want to travel to Munich with a high standard of service, the right choice is the Lufthansa Airport Bus. It departs every 20 minutes between 6.20 am and 9.40 pm, heading for Munich Central Station with one stop in Munich Schwabing. Refreshments available on board.
The bus departs from T2, T1/A and the Munich Airport Center. The fare is Euro 10.50 for a one-way ticket and Euro 17,00 for a return ticket.

German taxis are cream-colored cars with a "Taxi"-sign on the roof. The fare is calculated by a meter in the car.
From the airport to Munich City Center the fare is approx. Euro 50,-; Journey time approx. 40 min.

Taxi stands and operators

There are two lines connecting Munich Airport with Munich city center. The S-Bahn is accessible from the Munich Airport Center. The lines run all day every 10 minutes except from 1 am until 4 am.
