The Mobility Service at Munich Airport helps people with limited mobility or some form of impairment on their journeys.
The Mobility Service can be booked exclusively through your airline or your travel organizer. You cannot book the Mobility Service directly.

The following international classifications will help you to classify the extent of your mobility restriction:
WCHR: Passenger can walk short distances and can walk up and down stairs.
WCHS: Passenger can walk short distances but cannot walk up and down stairs.
WCHC: Passenger cannot walk independently and cannot walk up and down stairs.
BLND: Passenger is visually impaired.
DEAF: Passenger is hearing impaired.
BLND-DEAF: Passenger has impaired vision and hearing.
DPNA: Disabled passenger with intellectual or developmental disability.
Even if you normally get around without assistance, please bear in mind that there are often long distances to cover on foot at the airport.
Generally, it is not necessary to use stairs at Munich Airport. However, to get to the aircraft, you will have to cross boarding bridges with an incline of up to 10%. If your aircraft lands at a remote position, you will be taken to it on a low-floor bus. Depending on the type of aircraft, you may also have to climb stairs.
If you are unable to negotiate these obstacles, please do not hesitate to choose the WCHS or WCHC categories. This will ensure that you get the assistance you need.
If you have an identity card for a person with disabilities indicating “aG”, “H” or “BI”, you will receive a discount of 50% on the standard parking fees. You will also receive this discount if you are accompanying a person with severe disabilities to the airport.
Parking for less than five hours is free of charge.

Parking near the terminal can be found opposite Terminal 1 on level 03 in the immediate vicinity of the elevators. If you are departing from Terminal 2, parking near the terminal can be found on level 03 and level 05 of the north wing of P20.
Accessible parking spaces are available in all parking garages at Munich Airport. They are located either on the same level as the entrance to the terminal or in the immediate vicinity of the elevators.
These parking spaces cannot be reserved.
If you have an identity card for a person with disabilities indicating “aG”, “H” or “BI”, you will receive a discount of 50% on the standard parking fees.
The discount does not apply to online bookings or to additional services (e.g. electric charging, valet services) or in special parking areas (e.g. XXL parking)
The discount can be claimed at the parking office in the central area, level 03. On request, you can simply pay an airport employee on-site, who can be called using the intercom button on any pay station.

The S1 or S8 will take you to the rapid transit (S-Bahn) station under Munich Airport Center (MAC, level 02). You can take escalators or wheelchair-friendly elevators to the ground floor (level 03) of Munch Airport Center. From here, you can access Terminal 1 directly or Terminal 2 through the forum of Munich Airport Center.

As a passenger with disabilities, please use the “Fastlane” to get to security and passport control. Look out for the wheelchair symbol.
Passengers with pacemakers, cochlea implants or prostheses can request alternative screening without probes. Please speak to the screening personnel. Screening will be made easier with a medical certificate.
