Munich Airport releases latest figures

2017 integrated report available now for download

July 5, 2018
Munich Airport's new integrated report, entitled "Showing Class", is now available in an interactive online version on the airport's website. It presents the traffic statistics and key financial data for 2017 and provides information on the wide-ranging activities in support of sustainable airport operations, including all measures to reduce CO2 emissions. Munich Airport aims to become Germany's first carbon-neutral airport by 2030.

In honor of Munich Airport's 25th anniversary, which was celebrated in 2017, the integrated report also traces the airport's successful ascent to join the ranks of the top 10 hubs in Europe. The latest report breaks new ground in terms of editorial content with three feature articles: With a magazine-style layout, they offer exciting insights into the world of the airport and describe how Munich Airport is tackling the challenges of digitization, marketing its expertise around the world, and developing its infrastructure in line with current and future needs.

The new issue, to be released in a print edition at the end of July, will appear in a reader-friendly landscape format somewhat larger than the previous report. The modern layout, with large pictures and spacious typography, also enhances the impact of the figures and charts. It will be printed on 100 percent recycled paper.

Munich Airport has been applying the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) for transparent reporting of corporate sustainability efforts for the past 10 years.

"Showing Class" is available now at bericht2017.munich-airport.de (German) or report2017.munich-airport.com (English).
