Today, on Valentine’s Day, hearts and flowers will abound at Munich Airport, too.
For a Hollywood-style moment when that special person steps out into the arrivals area, nothing can top a personal greeting on the LED welcome screen, just outside the Terminal 2 baggage claim. Romantic types picking up their significant other at the airport have a selection of suggested messages and designs to choose from. The text can be displayed in English or German, and will keep scrolling across the big screen for the arranged time.
In the public area of both terminals, staff will be handing out Lindt chocolate hearts to sweeten the day for passengers and visitors. Those with a little more time to spend at the airport can enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner for two at the Hotel Hilton Munich Airport. The set menu includes three courses, complete with wine pairings.
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, exclusive rose arrangements from “Flowerbox by Inna Wiebe” are now available in Terminal 2 (G gate area). In delicate pastel shades, eye-popping berry colors or classical red: the perfectly preserved roses, which last up to three years, are the latest floral trend. They are presented in attractive boxes or exquisite glass vessels. For passengers with a special someone waiting, Inna Wiebe has an exquisite idea: individual roses as the perfect token of affection to hand over on arrival. Inna Wiebe's Flowerbox showroom at the heart of Munich has been the go-to spot for discerning shoppers in search of unique floral gifts for years. From now until mid- May 2019, the Flowerbox pop-up store will be offering the same popular products at Munich Airport.
